Having grown up in the small town of St. Martinville, Louisiana to “Okra & Potato” Farmers, Corey went on to serve his country and is a proud Army Veteran. Corey served from 2002 – 2008 with multiple deployments to Iraq as a Gun Truck Commander. He started his financial services career in 2004 and has been serving the community in this capacity for nearly twenty years. He works with professionals from all walks of life and career paths, and has experience serving business owners, military veterans, health care, education, and C-suite level professionals.

Throughout his financial services career, Corey has always had a “Client First” philosophy. He is committed to helping professionals and communities build, preserve, and transfer generational wealth in a way that is consistent with their financial goals and values. He provides a variety of services, including financial wellness and financial literacy workshops, retirement & investment planning, and single solution strategies depending on the needs of each client. Corey always starts by trying to understand the client’s current (and often complex) financial situation with his “Seek First to Understand” & “Common Sense” communication approach. He then works with the client to develop a plan to help them achieve their financial goals.

Corey graduated Magna Cum Laude in Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Central in 2010 and completed his MBA from Texas A&M University Commerce in 2012. He is currently completing his Master’s in Financial Planning from The American College of Financial Services. He is very active with military veterans, his community, and his Church. Corey’s greatest honor to date, is marrying his very best friend, Celestina.

How Do You Get Started?

It is a simple process, just show up at The Abundant Harvest Kitchen at 7:00 am or request a zoom invite.  You can participate and enjoy the group each week.  First timers have free entry including beverages, and can pay $10 to have breakfast. All meetings after that will be $5 entry fee including beverages or $15 entry fee including breakfast. Come prepared to network and present yourself (or business) to the group in our 30-second round-the-room introductions.
