Thomas W. Hunter Jr. ’84
I am a real estate agent with an agency that specializes in rural properties, houses on acreage, pastureland and timber land. My background in this industry is in the timber business and I have been a member of the Texas Forestry Association since 2004.
I attended Texas A&M from 1980 to 1985 and graduated with two degrees through the College of Agriculture. I got very good leadership training through the Corps of Cadets and successfully completed The USMC officer candidate school. I spent about 30 years in the sales and service of manufacturing machinery in the petrochemical, paper and food processing industries.
My land/agricultural experience came from managing a 500+ acre family tree plantation here in Montgomery County. I am a third generation landowner and have been managing this land since 1992.
I am married to Donna ’86 and our son, Travis just graduated this past December. Our daughter is a member of the class of 2020 and is due to graduate on time, then pursue nursing school.
