Special Speaker Announcement

Kelly Baughman with Project Beacon

Kelly Baughman is the Executive Director and CoFounder of Project Beacon Texas, a young non-profit organization in our area working to create a community of belonging for adults with Autism and other Neurodiversities. Before launching Project Beacon, she was an owner and director within a top architecture, design, and consulting firm with Houston, Austin, and Dallas offices. She worked with many C-suite and executive-level leaders, guiding them through often complex changes like workforce relocations or mergers and acquisitions. She is the mother of Mason, a 27-year-old son who is on the autism spectrum with intellectual disabilities. When Mason transitioned from his high-school program to adulthood, she found the lack of opportunities unacceptable. Determined to give back, she teamed up with Kevin Gerrity to help solve some of the critical shortages of quality educational, social, vocational and residential options.
