A U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, Scott served as a military officer and pilot before spending two decades in leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies. He is a former board chair of Houston Habitat for Humanity and a member of the Leadership Montgomery County Class of 2026.

Scott Burns is President and CEO of Montgomery County Food Bank, leading its mission to unite the community in the fight against hunger. Before becoming CEO in 2026, he served as MCFB’s Vice President of Growth, overseeing marketing, development, and volunteer services.

Scott leads Montgomery County Food Bank as it serves neighbors more than 90,000 times each month through 100 partner agencies across one of the nation’s fastest-growing counties, where more than 100,000 people experience food insecurity.
